 included both Turbo and Online.

Accomplishments:

Manage a team of six software test engineers from project start to release.

Implement test plans, test specifications and test summaries on an
Informix MS-DOS Windows front-end. Analyze and compensate for network
 performance problems.

Test for networks included winsock support, and proprietary interfaces
such as HP ARPA. Other networks included Novell LanWorkPlace,
FTP Associates, Wollongong and Net Manange.

Implemented functional coverage test of the AD/XDP language which contains
 over five hundred functions.

Implemented test coverage plans for image scanners.

 Managed test timelines and equipment.

UNIX Consultant: 3-92 - 3-93
Silicon Graphics Incorporated, Mt. View, California

Customer Support Engineer providing support for UNIX network integration and OS installation.

Debug and solve problems with NetLS a network licensing software designed
to work in a heterogeneous networking environment. NetLS is based on
Apollo's network computing system modified to use RPC and used to keep
concurrent license databases throughout a heterogeneous network.
Submit bug reports and work with development engineers in finding a
resolution to the problems.

Setup and installation of NIS, Sendmail and DNS, debug user related network
commands such as rcp, ftp. Setup rulesets in sendmail.cf. Support NetVis
a network analyzer product which works at the packet level for debugging
and graphical level to analyze network traffic.

Solve customer problems related to new device driver installations.
Analyze vmcore dumps. Typical problems in this area is customer
not creating the correct structure to access the device, old drivers causing
unresolved symbols. Resolve customer problems with OS installation typical
involved reconstruction of install database.
